In 2018, Anna Karmasin has sung concerts with Ensemble Blauer Reiter in Boston and New York with repertoire including a cycle Lieder und Schneebilder by Matthias Pintscher and Haitian Songs by the New York born composer Amery Jean. In 2020/2021, she will sing Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, accompanied by Hofer Symphoniker, Mozart’s Requiem, accompanied by Landshuther Sinfonieorchester, and Poulenc’s Stabat Mater.
In 2019, the lyric soprano made her debut in a new production of Spohr’s Faust at Theater Koblenz. The German soprano has sung Euridice in concert performances of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice and Euridice as well as La Musica in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo in 2017. Her repertoire also includes Kunigunde in Bernstein’s Candide, Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Bacchis in Oberteithner’s Aphrodite and Adele in Strauß‘ Die Fledermaus.
Anna Karmasin is a dedicated concert soloist: she has performed a wide ranging concert Repertoire, including Peri in Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri and also has a passion for contemporary music. She performed Pierrot Lunaire by Schönberg, chamber concerts and first performances with works by Dorothea Hofmann, Robert M. Helmschrott and Graham Waterhouse. The lied recitalist performed in Berlin, Milan, Munich and Paris, accompanied by pianists including Gerold Huber.
Anna Karmasin performed with orchestras including Bayerischen Filmfoniker, Leipziger Symphonieorchester, Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie and Baroque-Ensemble L’Arpa Festante.
