In 2023, Camilla Saba Davies made her acclaimed at Theater an der Wien, singing the leading lady in Eötvös’ The Golden Dragon. In 2022, she made her first appearance at Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich in Penderecki’s The Devils of Loudon, covering the role of Gabrielle and singing an Ursuline, which opened the 2022 Munich Opera Festival, and returned for the revival in March 2023. 2025 will see her debut at Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck.

In 2022, Camilla Saba Davies was acclaimed as May-Shan in Jost’s Rote Lantern at Munich’s Prinzregententheater, directed by Balázs Kovalik and conducted by the composer himself. The same year she has sung Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hansel und Gretel at Schleswig-Holsteinische Landestheater. In 2023, she made her debut at Staatstheater Augsburg. She has appeared several times with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester under conductors such as Patrick Hahn, Christian Jost as well as Ivan Repušić, and performed at the Bayerische Staatsoper under the baton of Vladimir Jurowski.

In 2021, the lyric coloratura soprano has sung Lauretta in Bizet’s Doctor Miracle conducted by Ivan Repušić, Berenice in Rossini’s L’occasione fa il ladro conducted by Patrick Hahn and a soloist in a staged adaptation of Jost’s Dichterliebe. As a student, she sang Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Royal Academy Opera in 2019, Emilie in Toch’s Egon and Emilie at the Royal Academy of Music in 2018 and the title role in Flotow’s Martha at Brent Opera in 2017. She worked with directors including Jan Eßinger, Balázs Kovalik, Andrew Sinclair, and Simon Stone.

Camilla Saba Davies is a dedicated concert soloist, with appearances this year including Orff’s Carmina Burana in Niederalteich. In chamber concerts, she has been accompanied by Vladimir Jurowski on the piano at the 2022 Munich Opera Festival and by Kit Armstrong at the Feldafing Music Festival. She also devotes herself to Lieder and has given Lieder recitals in Tokyo and the UK.
