In January 2026, Samuel Andre made his debut as Tarquinius in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia in a new production at the Mozarteum Salzburg. In June, the baritone will return to the Mozarteum Salzburg to create Evrybates in the world premiere of Vid Ozbolt’s Agamemnon, and in October/November, he performs Zuniga in Bizet’s Carmen at the Salzburg Children’s Festival.
Since 2020, the baritone has performed in recital and concert both in and beyond Austria, Germany, and South Tyrol. In 2023, he gave recitals of Schubert and Löwe songs in Ettlingen and Salzburg.
In April 2026, Samuel Andre sang Pilate in Bach’s St John Passion for the first time in Salzburg. His 2026 schedule also includes oratorio engagements with Cantus Aurunque, and the Salzburg Philharmonic.
In 2025, Samuel Andre performed Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in the Mozarteum University’s opera school production, a role he repeated as part of Austria’s cultural contribution at the Expo in Osaka, Japan. Later that year, the baritone performed the role of Papageno in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at Frankfurt Opera’s Espenschied Summer Festival.
