In April 2025, aged 19, soprano Etīna Emīlija Saulīte made her debut at the Latvijas Nacionālā Opera , singing her first Liu in Puccini’s Turandot and will return Rīga in January 2026. In November 2025, she will sing Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at 31st Iubilaei Cantus Festival 2025 in Nowy Sącz, Poland. From 2025 to 2027, she joins Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan and will make her Scala debut in the title role in Colasanti’s Anna A. in the matinee performances on 1st and 2nd December 2025.
In 2024, Etīna Emīlija Saulīte sang the soprano solo in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with the Emīla Dārziņa Chamber Orchestra, repeating it in 2025 at Jurmala Concert Hall with Riga Cathedral Boys’ Choir conducted by Mārtiņš Klišāns. Other recent performances include the 2024 Emīls Awards final concert conducted by Andris Vecumnieks, the Latvian National Opera’s 2024/25 season opening gala concert with the Latvian Opera and Ballet Symphonic Orchestra, a recital with pianist Daniil Mickevich at the Latvian Concert Hall and a concert with tenor Aleksandres Antonenko conducted by Ainārs Rubiķis at the Jurmala Festival.
The Latvian singer was awarded a Special Prize at the 2024 International Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition, First Prize at the 2024 Ineses Galantes Talanti Competition, First Prize at 1st International Vox Iuventae Singing Competition in Riga and both Second Prize and Polish State Artists’ Prize for Greatest Stage Personality of the Competition at the 21st International Ada Sari Vocal Art Competition in Nowy Sacz in 2025.
Etīna Emīlija Saulīte has also appeared in concert with orchestras such as the Emīla Dārziņa Chamber Orchestra and Krakow Opera Orchestra, with conductors including Marta Kluczyńska and Mārtiņš Ozoliņš.
